Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to research, compare, and buy a bathtub from us — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.

We're a small team and we won't pretend the site is perfect. What we can promise is that we take this seriously, we're working at it, and if you run into something that doesn't work, a real person will read your email and fix it.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard most widely referenced in US accessibility law and practice.

What we've done

Descriptive alternative text on every product image, written to convey what the photograph actually shows rather than repeating the file name
Specification tables built with proper headers so screen readers announce rows and columns correctly
Text and background colour combinations checked for contrast
Keyboard navigation through menus, filters, product pages, and checkout
Clear, consistent heading structure on every page
Form fields with visible, associated labels
Detailed written specifications

Where we know we fall short

Being honest about this is more useful to you than a claim of full compliance:

Our installation manual is currently a PDF that has not been fully remediated for screen readers. If you need the installation instructions in an accessible format, email us and we'll send them as plain text or HTML — usually the same day.
Certain third-party features, such as our review widget and chat assistant, are supplied by outside vendors and we don't control their code directly. We've raised accessibility with those vendors and will replace any tool that can't meet the standard.
Our checkout is provided by Shopify. We've tested it and report issues to them, but we don't control that code.

If something doesn't work

Please tell us. This is the fastest way anything gets fixed.

Include the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened — plus your browser and assistive technology if you know them. We'll acknowledge within [2] business days and tell you what we're doing about it and roughly when.

And if a barrier is stopping you from ordering, email us and we'll take the order for you directly. You should never lose access to a product because our website has a problem we haven't fixed yet.
