Gramans Bathware Limited Warranty

This limited warranty is provided by Gramans Bathware LLC ("Gramans," "we," "us"), 3780 SW Canoe Creek Terrace, Palm City, FL 34990.

Our Commitment

We build tubs to last, and we write our warranty the same way we write our product pages — plainly, with the limits stated rather than buried. Read this before you buy, not after. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer it in writing.

This is a limited warranty. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Who Is Covered

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser, at the original installation address, for a product bought directly from Gramans Bathware or an authorised Gramans reseller and installed in the contiguous United States.

It is not transferable. It does not pass to a subsequent owner of the property, and it does not survive the removal of the tub from its original installation address.

It applies to residential use only.

What Is Covered, and For How Long

Gramans Bathware warrants that each component below will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal residential use, for the period stated — measured from the date of delivery.

Component Coverage period
Acrylic tub shell — structural integrity, including cracking, crazing, and delamination 5 years
Integral feet, base frame, and structural supports 5 years
Surface finish — gloss and colour retention 5 years
Drain assembly, overflow assembly where applicable, waste fittings, and all supplied hardware 5 years

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover, and Gramans Bathware is not liable for:

Installation and labour

  • Installation, removal, reinstallation, or reconnection of any product
  • Any labour, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, or trade charges, whether incurred before, during, or after a warranty claim
  • Damage arising from improper installation, including installation on an unlevel, unsupported, or inadequately reinforced floor
  • Installation not performed in accordance with our installation manual and applicable local plumbing and building codes

Handling and transit

  • Damage occurring in freight, delivery, or handling. This is covered separately and more generously under our delivery damage process — see How to Report Delivery Damage below

Use, care, and environment

  • Accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, or modification
  • Refinishing, resurfacing, or repair performed by anyone other than Gramans Bathware or a party we have authorised in writing
  • Damage caused by abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, organic or petroleum-based solvents, acetone, undiluted bleach, ammonia, or drain-cleaning chemicals applied to the tub surface
  • Damage caused by the use of parts, fittings, or components not supplied by Gramans Bathware
  • Damage caused by water conditions, including excessive water temperature or pressure, corrosive water, or high mineral content

Normal wear and appearance

  • Surface scratches, scuffs, and gradual dulling arising from ordinary use
  • Staining or discolouration from hard water, mineral deposits, dyes, bath bombs, oils, salts, or hair and skin products
  • Minor variations in colour, gloss, or dimension within normal manufacturing tolerance

Setting and eligibility

  • Any product used commercially, or installed in a rental, hospitality, institutional, or multi-unit setting
  • Any product installed outside the contiguous United States
  • Any product purchased from a source other than Gramans Bathware or an authorised Gramans reseller
  • Any product from which the model or serial identification has been removed, altered, or made illegible
  • Any product not paid for in full

Logos and surface markings — Fading, wear, partial removal, or complete removal of printed or applied logos, branding, lettering, or other surface markings, including the Gramans logo, whether resulting from normal use, cleaning, maintenance, or contact with cleaning products.

Conditions of Coverage

To make a claim under this warranty you must:

  1. Be the original purchaser, and provide proof of purchase — your Gramans order number and delivery confirmation
  2. Have installed and maintained the product in accordance with the installation manual and our published care instructions
  3. Report the defect to us within 30 days of discovering it
  4. Not remove, discard, repair, or alter the product before we have authorised you to do so in writing

Point 4 matters. Once a tub has been removed or repaired, we cannot assess the claim, and coverage is void.

What We Will Do

If we determine that a product is defective and covered by this warranty, Gramans Bathware will, at our sole option:

  • Supply a replacement part; or
  • Supply a replacement product; or
  • Refund the original purchase price paid

If the original model is no longer available, we may supply a comparable current model or refund the original purchase price. Freight on any replacement we approve is at our cost.

A replacement part or product carries the remainder of the original warranty period, not a new one.

This is your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gramans Bathware is not liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages arising from the sale, installation, use, or failure of any product. This includes, without limitation:

  • Damage to floors, ceilings, walls, cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, or personal property
  • Water damage of any kind, and any resulting mould, structural, or remediation cost
  • Loss of use, inconvenience, or the cost of temporary or substitute facilities
  • Labour, plumbing, or trade charges of any kind
  • Lost time, lost income, or lost profit

In no event shall our total liability exceed the purchase price actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Implied Warranties

Any implied warranty, including the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited in duration to the applicable written warranty period stated in the coverage table above.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

How to Report Delivery Damage

Damage that occurs in transit is not a warranty matter and is handled separately, at no cost to you.

Inspect your tub before signing the delivery receipt. If you see damage of any kind, write DAMAGED on the receipt with a description before signing, photograph it, and email us within 48 hours of delivery. We handle the carrier claim and arrange a replacement — you pay nothing and file nothing.

Signing a clean delivery receipt is a statement that the shipment arrived in good condition, and it makes carrier claims very difficult to pursue afterwards. Full instructions are on our freight delivery page.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Email team@gramansbathware.com with:

  • Your order number and proof of purchase
  • The product model
  • Clear photographs of the defect, and of the tub as installed
  • A description of the problem and the date you first noticed it
  • Your installer's invoice, if the tub was professionally installed

We aim to respond within 2 business days. We may request additional photographs, a video, an independent inspection, or the return of a component for evaluation. Do not remove or dispose of the product before we authorise it.

Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
